Pacific Wonderland - Part Four

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Super excited to share that I'll be heading to Acadia National Park next week! I haven't been to Maine since I was a kid, so I'm stoked to be able to revisit, and explore new places. If you have any tips on places to check out, let me know!

Sharing some photos from our first day in the Olympic National Park. We caught the ferry first thing in the morning and headed up to Hurricane Ridge. It was both of our first time there! As we drove up, we found ourselves going further and further into a thick cloud of fog. At first we were a little bummed, because we had zero views of the mountains, but after a bit of exploring in the snow and surrounding forest, it was easy to forgive the unfavorable weather. And to our surprise, just as we were getting ready to head out, the clouds broke, and we were treated to some AMAZING views. After being in the car for hours, we really welcomed our destination for the night : the Sol Duc Hot Springs. They were just what we needed after all the intense exploring we had done the days before! After a night of car camping and a quick trip to the falls, we packed up and headed to the coast, as far Northwest as we could go. Our first stop was Cape Flattery, which is probably one of my favorite spots in Washington. Then we made our way down to La Push, another favorite! It was so awesome to be back in these spots, and to share them with V! Definitely made these places feel even more special. I only have one more post left of this trip, then I can start sharing more Adirondack adventures! Stay tuned.
