#WorkFromAnywhere :: A Few Days in Philly With Sosuite

Hi friends!

Starting a new series today, inspired by my recent string of adventures that got us out of our ‘home office’ space and back out into the world! While I did appreciate having extra time to be with family and work on projects close to home, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t champing at the bit to get back into rambler mode. I’ve adopted a bit of a happy medium, instead of working from home - we’re working from anywhere! While not true road trip adventures (which usually consist of 99% of time around the car/outdoors) these trips have  dedicated office hours, even if the office in question is a little unconventional- ha!

For a slight change of pace (and scenery), I recently hopped on the train from New York and made the quick journey down to Philadelphia. Some of you who have been following along on IG for awhile may remember I used to work with Philly-based brand, United By Blue, but even then, my visits to their home base were few and far between. This trip felt like a perfect reintroduction to the city, and as this was also a Work from Anywhere test, I knew I needed a space that could serve as both sleep and work HQ for the week. My search was over after discovering Sosuite. Think BEAUTIFUL, unique lofts and apartments - less hassle than Airbnb and a WAY better deal than any nearby hotels. What’s not to love?! With multiple locations in the city, it’s super easy to find the Sosuite space perfectly suited to your needs.

On this trip, I stayed in one of their incredible lofts located just a few blocks north of Chinatown (if you love boba teas, a detour to Mr. Wish is a must!). It ended up being a perfect central location for all the exploring I did while there - from the infamous LOVE park, to shopping in Rittenhouse Square, grabbing food in Northern Liberties and Fishtown, and taking in the historic sites of Old City. While some may choose to drive or hop in a Lyft, the city gal in me can’t turn down the chance to stretch my legs and explore on foot! I also feel this is the best way to see a new place, as you end up having more time to check out the side streets and take in all the little details - one of my unexpected favorite spots happened to be Philadelphia City Hall - some truly amazing architecture in that square!

Back in the Sosuite loft, I had ample room to stretch out and enjoy the expansive view of the city below. Each unit is equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen, high speed wifi, the comfiest beds, and ample space to both work and relax. My favorite thing to do was watch the sun set on the city - easy to do with the GIANT windows that lined the whole loft!

Suffice it to say, this was an incredible #WorkFromAnywhere experience, all thanks to the Sosuite team for making my trip so enjoyable! They’re currently adding even more unique stays to their roster, so make sure to check them out if you happen to be planning a trip to the area!
