Cozied up in South Dakota at the Sheep Hill Chalet

Hi guys!

Hopefully over the weekend you had a chance to read my posts from my road trip to South Dakota, but if not. start with part one and two! On our last night of the trip, we made our way to the charming little city of Deadwood. This place will truly give you all those “wild west” vibes!

Just a short, misty drive away brought us to the dreamiest cabin in the woods, the Sheep Hill Chalet. From the second we opened the door, we were completely blown away by the immaculate decor. Everything felt like an homage to the home’s surroundings, from the animal hides and MASSIVE buffalo taxidermy to all the cozy linens and accents.

Our stay at the chalet was accompanied by lots of rain, but we made the best of it and used it as an excuse to get extra cozy! A dip in the hot tub, followed by cups of cocoa and a nice wood fire made for the perfect evening. And after all our adventures from the week, it ended up being exactly what we needed. :)

Like the rest of our trip, our stay at Sheep Hill Chalet was an absolute dream! If you’re ever in the Deadwood area, you can book a stay for yourself here !

Hope you all enjoyed reading about our adventures in South Dakota! We truly had an incredible time getting to know this state. Like our tour guide at the wild stallion preserve stated, it truly is America’s best kept secret.
