Summer on the Road : Part Two - British Columbia

Happy Tuesday, guys!

In exactly one week, I'll be in the midst of my next road trip! Super excited to be heading out to explore the Fall foliage, and be reunited with some of my Northeast favorites along the way. One thing that this past season's trips has taught me is how much I love sharing the adventure with friends - new and old. The best and most memorable days were always spent in the company of others.

BC was no exception. In a completely unplanned way, my first full day in Vancouver turned into a bit of an Instameet. Starting at the Capilano Suspension Bridge and ending in Golden Ears Provincial Park, our little group grew into a BIG group by the end of the day. And the following day was no different, a spontaneous trip to the tulip fields turned into an adventure up a forest road to the most incredible lake. Again, we ran into friends (which is honestly my favorite part about the Northwest - it always seems to happen!), shared stories and laughs around the campfire, and breathed in the fresh mountain air. Hours slipped away from us too quickly and it was with a heavy heart that I turned back to Vancouver - and from there, Washington. Hoping to get back soon, been missing these landscapes - and the pals I shared them with.
