The Road to Acadia

Happy Fall, everyone! I am so unbelievably happy that the weather has finally changed to foggy mornings and cooler days. It's so refreshing to be able to throw on sweaters and flannels again! With all of our latest adventures (including a huge Northeast road trip), I forgot to post about our trip to Acadia over the Summer. It was another whirlwind journey, and my first introduction to New Hampshire's White Mountains and Mount Desert Island in Maine. Although our time in the White Mountains was brief, the place completely stayed with me. So much so, that I've trekked back over there a few times since then! Each time I am honestly more in awe with the area. I felt the same after our short stay in Acadia. After watching a sunrise on Cadillac Mountain (and a sunset later that day), numerous drives around the park, and a biplane tour over the island, I was officially enamored with the area. If it wasn't so far away, I would drop everything and head back there in a heartbeat! But the distance just made it that much more special. Hope you guys like the shots from our trip, and can't wait to share more soon!
