Resolutions

Happy New Year everyone! I'm finally back in New York after a two week holiday. And what a crazy two weeks it was. If my New Year's Resolution is to travel more, I can safely say I have so far kept that promise strong. In just the first five days of January, I managed to travel through six different states, two of which I had never spent time in before (airports don't count!). I'm still reeling from the effects of all that travel, but I will be editing and processing photos as fast as possible! Can't wait to share with you all the amazing places we visited.

As I mentioned before the break, Christmas was spent at the cabin in the Adirondacks. I could not get over how warm it was there! New York experienced quite the heat wave during this time, which unfortunately meant no snow. The plus side was that it did make for perfect hiking conditions. My family and I took full advantage of the unusually warm weather, and decided to hike to a fire tower in the heart of the Adirondacks. We got lucky with a perfectly sunny day, which turned the panoramic mountain views into a beautiful shade of blue. I can't wait to go here again! Maybe with snow?
