My Favorite Pieces :: Overland FW 21/22

Hi friends!

So excited to share with you a little photo series I’ve been working on with the brand, Overland, these last few months. Inspired by the American West, Overland pieces are made from the finest sheepskin, leather, wool, and other natural materials. A family-run business that originated in Taos, New Mexico back in 1973, it has since grown from its classic sheepskin coat design to offer outerwear, clothing, and even beautiful home accents. From the attention to detail, impeccable quality of materials, and timeless designs, it’s truly become a favorite brand of mine!

One of my absolute favorite pieces from Overland’s FW collection is their Anastasia Reversible Hooded Cape. Crafted from an alpaca wool blend material, with a fox fur trim, it’s the easiest, most elegant way to elevate your winter wardrobe! I felt like a princess every time I put it on. I LOVE that it’s reversible (it’s like two pieces in one!), as the neutral palette works well with anything worn underneath.

Perhaps a style Overland is truly known for, their Sheepskin coats are a CLASSIC. I loved this Jane Special Edition version of their Merino Sheepskin B-3 Bomber Jacket. From the color way, contrasting trim, and detachable hood - it’s sophisticated, yet unfussy. Perfect with a light sweater underneath, the sheepskin lining kept me plenty cozy on more than one chilly day in February.

While Overland may be known for their Outerwear, their cozy sweaters and accessories are not to be missed! Especially if you live in a super cold climate like me, you’ll know that sometimes fashion and function don’t always meet in the warmth department. Which is why I find their Knitted Mink Fur Beanie (with a fox fur pom) so charming! I put this hat to the test on a particularly cold (and incredibly windy) winter hike, and I’m happy to report the hat stayed put and my head stayed warm! Definitely recommend this piece as a great gift idea for all your ski bunny friends.

On the same hike, I also wore the Tove Cotton Sweater - a tunic style in a classic fisherman cable design, it makes for a great layering piece year round.

Their Eden Cashmere Sweater is another favorite of mine, the quality is superb and feels like being wrapped in a lightweight cloud!

The wonderful thing about all these pieces is how effortlessly they transition from one season to the next. I’m planning on bringing them along for some Spring adventures this month, which you can follow along with on my Instagram ! In the mean time, you can find more beautiful designs on the Overland site.
